ABOUT ME!
Hello everyone and welcome to my little safe haven, I'm so happy your here! I would like to introduce myself just a little and welcome you to my shop. My name is Joslyn (although to most I'm just Joss) I am 28 year old living in Wilmington, North Carolina. I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I grew up there most of my life through high school. After I graduated high school I did go to college at the University of Kentucky, but sadly after 2 years there I found myself not being able to afford tuition anymore. I ended up moving back home, but I didn't want to be stuck there so shortly after going back to Illinois I decided to enlist in the United States Navy! I won't go into to much detail but let's just say my experience in service did not go as planned and my time in the Navy came to a short close after 2 years. I learned so much not only about service but also myself in those 2 years. I got to live in Hawaii for a short time and then mostly in San Diego, California.
I always say the best thing to come out of my time in the Navy was God bringing me to my fiancé Aaron. We did work together on the same ship and that is how we met, but its funny because when I got to the ship in Hawaii, even though he was on the boat at that time, we didn't actually meet until our ship home changed to San Diego. It's funny looking back at a photo of him receiving an award and I am standing right behind him, but we hadn't actually met yet. We finally met through a mutual friend in the Fall of 2018 and things were never the same again. We met in November and were officially dating by December 20th and have been together ever since! He has been out of the service now for 2 years and are living together here in Wilmington. The reason I add him in my about me not only because he is apart of who I am but because he has been my rock and ultimate support for me starting my online boutique. I knew nothing about starting a business but knew I had an idea and a dream to have my own and he immediately was like, "let's do it"! So I got to work and my idea became a reality!
I also want to mention my other cheerleader which is my mom, she believes in me so much and wants to see me succeed. She was even the one who helped me with the majority of my first round of inventory. So I really wouldn't have been able to make this reality as fast as I did without her. So I of course want to recognize her. I love you mom!
